Tranz Scenic Railway Transfers

If you have made the wise choice of embarking on a world-class train journey through the rugged mountains of the central South Island on the Tranz-Alpine scenic train or decided to get your feet wet on an equally amazing trip along the South-Eastern coastline on the Tranz-Coastal service, you will want to know about us! We are contracted by Trans-Scenic to provide courtesy transport between Central city accommodation and the Addington railway station for both Trans-Coastal passengers travelling to Kaikoura, Blenheim and Picton and Trans-Alpine passengers travelling to Arthur's Pass and Greymouth.

This service is available FREE OF CHARGE for all Kiwi Rail passengers in the Christchurch central city area travelling to the station in the morning. - Click here for standard stops and pickup times.

For passengers arriving in Christchurch and those doing a return trip on the day there is a minimal charge for us to meet and greet you at the station and return you safely to your destination anywhere in the central city. We can even take you to any other suburbs or the Christchurch International Airport at very reasonable rates.

If you choose to catch our service at one of our regular pickup points you don't need to book with us in advance, although we would appreciate a booking if there are 10 or more people in your particular party. You must book with us if you are staying somewhere else around the city. In this case we will collect you from outside your accommodation at or close to the specified time. Please allow 12 hours notice by telephone or 48 hours notice for E-mail confirmation. It is very important that you are ready for us to ensure that all passengers who require our service get to the station on time.
